At Godfirst our vision is for every child to encounter Jesus, to learn to live the life and mission of Jesus and to love gathering together with His Church! We currently have four supervised age groups that cater for the children and youth at Godfirst.

When you arrive

When you arrive at Godfirst please take the time to sign your child into their groups before the meeting starts. We operate a sign-in/sign-out sticker system. The children start in the main meeting for sung worship and go out to their groups around 10:50am. Please collect them at the end of the main meeting from their group.

SPARKLERS

Babies to Pre-school
Our confident team will take good care of your youngest children so you can enjoy the main meeting. If you are uncomfortable leaving your child you are welcome to stay out with them. They enjoy free play, craft, story time, worship and have a snack of breadsticks and water.

IGNITE

Infants: Reception to Year 2
Infants have loads of fun together in Ignite. They enjoy an interactive session with bible teaching, games, crafts and songs, and always enjoy making friends as they explore Jesus.

ELEVATE

Year 3 to Year 6
Year 3-Year 6 children meet in Elevate. They have a fun, fast paced session with games, interactive discussions and challenging activities. They open the bible together and love getting to know Jesus through all they do.

YOUTH

Year 7 to Year 11
XLR8 is our Youth group. They love silly games and activities as well as getting serious about Jesus and discussing relevant topics facing today’s youth. They gather fortnightly during Sunday morning meetings (alternate Sundays they remain in the main meeting for the talk), and also meet fortnightly on Thursday evenings for a social time of games, sports, testimonies and plenty of sweets!

Safeguarding

We always aim to keep your children safe at Godfirst, so we operate a tight Safeguarding Policy and all team leaders are trained and DBS checked. A copy of our safeguarding policy is available on request.

Godfirst Communities

The children at Godfirst love hanging out together and as a part of our Godfirst communities with their families, they learn to live the life and mission of Jesus with the rest of the church.
